Get the trash out of the splash. The Alabama Coastal Cleanup engages citizens to remove trash and debris from the gulf coast beaches and waterways, to identify the sources of debris, and ultimately change the habits that cause the problem.
Show your support for Alabama’s beaches and waterways at the 27th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 from 8:00 am 12:00 pm. You can make a difference by volunteering to clean up our cherished coastal area.
In its twenty-seven year effort to clean up the coast, over 72,000 volunteers have removed more than 700 tons of trash from Alabama’s valued coastline and waterways. Join us this year as we continue to make Alabama the Beautiful. This event is held on the third Saturday in September at various locations throughout Baldwin and Mobile Counties.
